Can you believe we're already halfway through Februry 2009?!?!
We have been busy working on brand new music that we cannot wait to share with you! Our newest song is called "Unbreakable," and was inspired by the amazing Stephenie Meyer novel, "New Moon." We think it would be a perfect fit for the "New Moon" Soundtrack. We're both in love with the "Twilight" soundtrack, so to work on "New Moon" would be a HUGE honor!
We have also booked our first concert for this summer. We'll be playing at Six Flags Magic Mountain on June 5, 2009 at 2pm and 3pm. We hope you'll be able to make it!!
We love writing music & performing, but we are also getting to work on our career as musicians.
In March, we'll be heading into the recording studio for the first time! We're so incredibly excited and can't wait to tell you all about it! We will be recording 5 songs for now to use as part of our Electronic Press Kit, which we will be sending to agencies & record labels. We'll of course upload the professionally mastered versions of our songs to our MySpace page when they're completed. We'll be recording "Unbreakable," "Someday," "You Don't Know," "Pretend," and "Story of My Life."

- kMw is an up-and-coming teen pop/rock band made up of siblings Katie (19) and Willy (16) McKenna of St. Louis, MO. We formed kMw in the fall of 2007. We write all of our own music and both play guitar; Willy also plays violin and piano and Katie plays various percussion instruments and piano.
